Who we are
With a tradition of over three decades in the field of conservation, our organization is recognized as a pillar of authority in protecting biodiversity on the territory of Romania. Our team is made up of nationally and internationally recognized scientists and experts who actively work to protect fish species and aquatic ecosystems, thus contributing to maintaining the ecological balance and preserving the valuable natural heritage of our country.
We save rare and threatened species, carry out expeditions and monitor all fish species in 11 hydrographic basins, the Danube, the Danube Delta and the Black Sea coastal area, knowing the real situation in Romanian waters.

Ecological reconstruction of the three lakes and the saving of centuries-old trees in the Bucharest Botanical Garden
In the Bucharest Botanical Garden, we strive to create a sustainable development hub in the capital. Our aim is to develop a more effective strategy for conserving green areas and lakes in Bucharest and its suburban areas. We are active members of the coalition of NGOs supporting and advocating for legislation projects to establish the Green Belt of the capital, alongside the Vacaresti Natural Park Association and the Alex Gavan Foundation;

Focus Project
Saving the Danube Salmon - Hucho hucho from Extinction!
The Danube salmon (Hucho hucho) is on the brink of extinction. In Romania, only 7-10 individuals remain, and without immediate action, this species will disappear from our waters. Our organization is fighting to save this species by building a breeding station dedicated to repopulation. But we need your support!
Help us create the "Little Noah's Ark" and protect this iconic species. Every contribution counts! Together, we can save the Danube salmon before it's too late!
